Day Shift

Starting £10.35 progressing through skill level to potentially reach £11.30

Day Shift 38.5hrs – 4 days on 3-day weekend.

Monday 7am to 5.30pm,Tuesday to Thursday 7am to 5pm. (lunch 12.30pm to 1pm).

Working 38.5 hours Monday to Thursday with the opportunity to work overtime.

Overtime is calculated weekly and is paid once 38.5hrs worked first 3hrs at Tx1.4 then Tx1.5.

To weld production components for various industries 

Main Duties for the Orbitig Welder 

• Set up welding machines based on job in hand or welding spec if required.
• Able to read and understand drawings and the specific welding requirements of the jobs
• Maintain quality, health and safety within the welding cell.
• To perform daily maintenance checks.
• Must be able to communicate with team leader / supervisor and production personnel to resolve welding problems .
• Follow any other request within reason.

General Competencies of the Orbitig Welder 

• Previous experience as a Mig welder, but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and result-driven approach
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations
• Flexible approach to tasks
• Ability to work in a team as well as being self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Basic/good PC skills
• The ability to follow instructions
