Pressure test – Nights starting £11.53 progressing through skill level  to potentially reach £12.79


Night shift 38.5hrs – 3.5 nights on 3.5 nights off


Monday to Wednesday 6.30pm to 6.30am & Thursday 6.30pm to 10.30pm. (Break 12.30am to 1am).

Working 38.5 hours Monday to Thursday with the opportunity to work overtime.


Overtime is calculated weekly and is paid once 38.5hrs worked first 3hrs at Tx1.4 then Tx1.5.

Main Duties for the Pressure Test Operative

  • Setting up machines to start production activities.
  • You will be checking finished pipes/parts to ensure they are fully sealed and checking for any leaks that may be visible 

  • Controlling and adjusting machine settings ( e.g., speed).
  • Completion of daily maintenance machine checklist .
  • Ensure work is accurate and planned work is achieved.
  • Maintain a clean working area and environment.
  • Recording output and scrap accurately.
  • Adhere to the company health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
  • Be proactive in communicating any problems or opportunities for improvement to a team leader, supervisor, or manager to ensure speedy resolution.
